Keeper’s Pond and surrounding landscape located in the Blaenavon World Heritage Site

Autumn

The autumn colours can be enjoyed on a walk in the woodlands that skirt around the Blorenge Mountain – you might even pick enough wimberries for a tart! Join the World Heritage Ranger on a guided walk, or look out for details of Junior Ranger days where children can learn about the local wildlife or how to be safe on the hills.

Half term at Blaenavon World Heritage Centre is always busy with arts and craft activities for the children. Whilst the children are busy, take some time to look at the exhibition which tells the story of the Blaenavon World Heritage Site, and why it is so important. Then stop off at the Heritage Café, located in the Centre for some lunch, or a cup of tea and Welsh Cake.

Halloween is also celebrated with a goulish Fright Night in the Workmen’s Hall in Blaenavon.
