Volunteer
Enthusiastic about our landscape and wildlife? Enjoy being outdoors? Interested in joining in with practical activities with like-minded people?
If this is describes you then becoming a volunteer ranger might be just the opportunity you’ve been looking for!
The Blaenavon World Heritage Site Volunteer Rangers carry out regular tasks that help to conserve, enhance and promote the precious natural and cultural heritage of the area within the Blaenavon Industrial Landscape. The group makes a valuable contribution to the work of the Forgotten Landscapes Partnership (FLP).
Please download the leaflet on this page and browse the other pages in this section to find out more. You can contact Sarah Lewis at FLP if you would like to come along to a volunteer task to see what it’s like.
If you are interested in joining in with any opportunity described in this section, please download an application, complete and send to Sarah. When your form is received you will be invited to an interview at the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre.
