A really impressive site and a good account of the industrial heritage of the town and surrounding area. Although we won't be returning to retire in Blaenavon, visits will be made all the more interesting for my husband.

How good to read the stories of people from Blaenavon. I know my husband Terry enjoys looking at the history of his home town and it has given him a great deal of pleasure to visit the Centre and make a contribution to the website.

What a wonderful site. My ancestors came from Blaenavon and I love the history associated with this town. Visited there some years ago and the people were so friendly, hope to visit again soon. Disappointed the photo of George and Naomi Cowmeadow and family was not showing in the Internnational Links.

Super site. My Mother was born in Blaenafon and my grandparents (Witchell) kept the Forge Hammer Hotel in Broad st. also a shoe shop. I am a regular visitor and will visit soon x
