Walking and Cycling
The Blaenavon Industrial Landscape is growing in importance as a walking centre. A variety of way-marked walks have been developed for a range of interests and abilities.

Pick up walks leaflets at the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre and find out about ideal walks in the landscape from the helpful staff.

The National Cycle Route, following the former railway line from Newport, passes through the World Heritage Site by Big Pit. From this cyclists can explore the Blaenavon area.
-
The towpath of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal also provides a long distance footpath, which passes through the World Heritage Site.
