Blaenavon Heritage Town is gearing up for the annual Blaenavon Winter Wonderland on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December, a real treat for all the family. With a magical outdoor ice rink and covered Christmas Market selling quality gifts, you can enjoy mulled wine and Christmas carols while you explore this special Heritage Town.
Santa will be making a return with his real reindeer on both days. Children can also visit him in his grotto with plenty of photo opportunities for children who want long lasting memories of this special moment. With children’s craft workshops and a cookery demonstration, find something for all the family.
This year we also welcome the addition of a lantern parade, performances from Blaenavon Male Voice, Blaenavon Town Band, and Blaenavon Heritage VC Primary school choir and school brass band. The Winter Wonderland will showcase this special Heritage Town featuring some unique independent shops, start your Christmas shopping in Blaenavon!
This community event is a collaboration between The Blaenavon Town Traders Association, Torfaen County Borough Council, Blaenavon Regeneration Partnership and Communities First and many other stakeholders in the town.
