Every Saturday, from 10 July to 28 August, the Heads of the Valleys Green Badge Guides are running guided walks around Blaenavon Heritage Town. You will have the opportunity to walk through the historic heart of the town and visit the Blaenavon Ironworks, the setting of BBC’s Coal House series and the most important feature of the Blaenavon World Heritage Site.

The tours are delivered by trained local guides in their own uniquely charming style and include stories of hidden weapons, local heroes, literary inspirations, and graveyard tales as well as cheese and chocolate… so something for everyone.

Meet at 2pm at the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre, Church Road, Blaenavon, NP4 9AE

Cost: £5 per adult. Children free if accompanied by adult
Depart: 2pm for approx 1 hour. Easy pace for all abilities
